App of the Moment: UFO on Tape

UFO on tape is a unique experience for iPhone and iPod touch that involves the player pretending that they are trying to capture a UFO on camera from a moving car. The game utilizes either the newer model's gyroscope or the older model's accelerometer to accurately mimic your movements as you try to keep the UFO in view for as long as possible. You really have to move the device all around and sometimes actually turn your body to keep track of the speeding UFO. It's actually kind of hard to explain it without showing it so here is a video of the game:

The game features a realistic graphical style, ambient sound, and an addictive challenge. I have only played it on the gyroscope and it is extremely accurate on the 4.0 hardware. Your movements are so well represented, I have truly never seen anything like it. It is for sure the most unique experience I have had on the device so far. It's currently 99cents on the app store and it is supposedly going up to $1.99 at some point.

I fully recommend UFO on Tape if you want something cheap and really unique.
