Hype Thread: Kane and Lynch 2: Dead Men

Usually, I'll use the term "Hype Thread" for a game where I really enjoyed the demo and want to write about it. However, this is Kane and Lynch. I thought it might be deserving of the title from some of the fun visual style that the game took. The whole thing is that there is meant to be a kind of Cloverfield-esque cameraman following the whole time, so that explains the shaky camera. They also add visual filters to artifact the game, which is an interesting idea but ends up looking junky. Doesn't matter if it's intentional, it makes the game look like I'm blowing up something on Youtube and that is not a good thing.

The idea may be interesting but under all the paint, there's still Kane and Lynch. It doesn't play as badly as Army of Two but it gets close sometimes. I had less trouble getting cover to work but more trouble with the aiming because the weapons are pretty horrendous.

I didn't try multiplayer, which could be where the game shines. Then again, how many goddamn times are we gonna fall for THAT one, where anyone is supposed to give a fuck about some C-tier title's multiplayer that no one ever plays?

I'm personally going to skip this one.
